Christmas is definitely a time with lots of giving. We save our money throughout the year so we can buy presents for our family members, friends, teachers, schoolmates, and colleagues. Getting gifts is great, but doesn’t giving gifts make you feel good? Our verse says that we need to give because it is what we want to do, not what we’re forced to do. Giving someone a gift or service should be done out of love.
Prayer
Dear God, Thank you for this day and thanks for giving us the opportunity to praise you and love others through the act of giving. And thank you for giving us Your son, who has saved us through his sacrifice.
